Life Members

As a founding member, Jacques has been part of the Committee since its inception in 2002. During that time, he took on the role of Membership Secretary and was a regular volunteer at the VCE Conversation sessions as well as Sommelier at La Chandeleur and the Beaujolais Nouveau events.

Jacques has been a constant, reliable linguistic and cultural advisor to the Alliance Française de Geelong over the past 20 years.

Life membership for Jacques was awarded December 2022.

Jeanne has conducted lessons for the Alliance Française de Geelong since classes commenced in February 2004. During many years she taught multiple classes each week and, as such, was our primary French Teacher.

To her teaching, Jeanne brought a wealth of experience enriched through studies in fine arts, archaeology, law, theatre and media. Jeanne has also contributed to the Alliance as an examiner for the Nicolas Baudin Speaking Competition and the Mock Orals for Year 12 Students.
